Acreage. Privacy. The Hill Country the way people picture it before they've been here.
Get to Know Spring Branch
Spring Branch is what people imagine when they say they want to escape to the Hill Country. There's no downtown to speak of, no traffic light you'll particularly remember, and the roads wind through cedar-covered hills and limestone creek beds in a way that makes the drive home feel like a deliberate choice.
Located in northern Comal County along the Guadalupe River corridor, Spring Branch sits roughly 30 miles north of San Antonio and about 20 minutes from New Braunfels. Five acres is a reasonable lot. Neighbors know each other. The night sky still looks the way it should.
Local Adventures
Texas Ski Ranch — Right down the road. Wakeboarding, cable skiing, zip lines, axe-throwing, and dinner shows.

What to Know About the Market
Properties in Spring Branch range from smaller homes on creek lots to larger custom builds on acreage tracts. Water wells and septic systems are common outside of subdivisions. Acreage properties often carry ag exemptions that significantly reduce property tax burden. The market moves more deliberately than New Braunfels, which can work in a buyer's favor.
Thinking About Spring Branch?
Finding the right property here takes a different approach than a typical neighborhood search. Acreage, wells, septic, ag exemptions — there's more to navigate than the MLS shows.
